Welcome to The Everett Street Guesthouse, a peaceful urban oasis and welcome alternative to higher priced hotels in Portland, Oregon.
Originally begun as a Bed & Breakfast in 2005, the inn closed in 2015, and now offers 2 separate vacation rentals on the same property--a comfortable one bedroom, lower level apartment and a detached studio cottage. Both have a separate entrance, bathroom, washer/dryer, large shared deck, private garden patio (cottage only), bbq and kitchenette.
Located in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of free, on-street parking, the property is walking distance to NE 28th Ave.'s "restaurant row," as well as neighborhood movie theater, music venues, public transportation and historic Laurelhurst Park. Driving distance to downtown and the Pearl District attractions are only minutes away by car or public transportation.
Your stay includes free wifi, shampoo, body soap, conditioner, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, flat screen t.v., robes and slippers. I also provide a few things to get you started in the morning--fresh roasted coffee beans, teas, juice, English muffins, butter, jam, breakfast cereal and snacks. Please note: there is no stove top in the kitchenettes, but everything else for light meal preparation is provided. Both accommodations are smoke free, pet free and have air conditioning.
There are 2 bicycles that can be rented for $10.00/day per person with helmet and locks. The owner is on site and available to help make the most of your stay.
Click here for an overview of the neighborhood location. I have a discount with Enterprise car rentals: use this discount number XZ46SB1. It is less expensive to rent at the Enterprise three blocks from the guesthouse on NE Sandy Blvd. than at the airport.
